RBJ Retirement Center

The RBJ Retirement Center is a 16 story retirement community facing south. With the rising utility costs and the facade looking more old fashioned as each year went by, window tinting was a cost-effective way to modernize this building. We installed a dark silver reflective film on the entire south wall. Since the film was applied, their utility costs dropped considerably, and Austin Energy provided them with a utility rebate as well.

4-D Designs

4-D Designs is a building listed in the Historical Society of Round Rock, TX. It is over 100 years old. Since it is on the registry they are not able to change anything on the exterior without authorization from the Society. The windows face south and are quite large. We used a product that was light and rejected 43% of the solar energy. This provided some glare and heat reduction without looking like it was tinted or altered in any way.

Altex Computers

Altex Electronics faces east and their employees were having trouble seeing their monitors in the cash wrap area due to the sun's glare until 4 PM. After the windows were tinted, they could see everything they needed. This film blocks 74% of the solar energy and allows 11% of the light to shine through. This is an  extremely popular for commercial applications.

Rock Chiropractic

We applied a residential type film to the eastern facing windows at Rock Chiropractic.  It is a light film that rejects 53% of the solar energy. Their objective was to make the waiting area more comfortable for their patients, yet keep the natural light shining through.

Simpson Racing

Here are two pictures of Simpson Racing in Speedway, Indiana. I did the graphics and tinted the store. They were concerned about racing uniforms in the windows fading in the sun. This store has an Indy car and a NASCAR car inside for you to see while shopping.

Indianapolis 500 Garage Area

We applied a dark silver reflective film to all of the windows in the garage area. The main concern was the need for privacy in this highly sensitive and competitive area. Spectators would be clamoring to look inside, and yet people on the inside need to look out. You can see the reflection of the IRL media truck in the windows.

Hilti

Security Film was applied to this construction supply company building. Extremely vulnerable to a break-in, this Ultra-Flex system prevents the glass from collapsing in, if broken. This protective film thwarts break-ins by using a Dow-Corning silicone, sealing the film to the actual window frame, and not just to the glass, like ordinary window film.

Petsmart

We installed  SL-280 on the upper sections and SL-380 in the lower section. This property faces the west and they were experiencing a fair amount of heat and glare during the afternoon hours. You can see where we started above the entry doors.

As you can see, the lower section is lighter. We install the SL-380 to many homes each year.

Admiral Nimitz Museum Fredericksburg

We installed a light shade 4mil security film to over 1000 panes of glass that took us three days to complete. This film was installed for two reasons. All of our films block at least 99% of the UV to help control fading. And being a 4 mil security film, it will hold the glass together keeping the weather from damaging the artifacts. This is a historical facility, changing the appearance  of the building is not an option.

Seattle's Best

We installed Huper Optik Ceramic 50 to the store front. The contractor next door broke a window and hired another window film installer to replace the film. You can see the silver window. That is a conventional metalized window film. The silver and Huper film pictured block the same amount of solar energy.

Project off of 2222 and 360

This is a new building that we installed a light silver film. When the owners moved in, they found the glass not dark  enough and not blocking enough of the sun's heat. This film  rejects 66% of the solar energy.

LBJ Museum

We installed Huper Optik Sech to the first and second floor of the south end. Huper Optik Sech is extremely light, rejecting 54% of the solar energy. They were wanting a film to help reduce fading while not darkening the windows. The top picture is Lady Bird's office on the eight floor. They were renovating her office because everything had faded.

LBJ Birth Home, Boyhood Home, and Texas Whitehouse

We installed clear 2 mil museum quality film to all of the windows in LBJ's Birth Home, Boyhood Home and the Texas White House. This 2 mil film has an extra layer of UV inhibitor to help reduce fading. Well over 1000 panes of antique glass, took three days to complete. For security reasons, we were unable to take a photo of the Texas White House.
